Dr. Mark Emerson

“The best part about being a dentist has been building long term relationships with so many nice people. For 31 years now I have been able to be a small part of many people’s lives, and have helped them achieve the best possible dental health. I have seen a lot of kids grow up and head off on their own, and that is pretty cool.

With the advances in technology, I love doing today’s dentistry! We are seeing great results straightening teeth with Invisalign clear aligners. We are enjoying doing single visit CEREC cad/cam ceramic crowns and onlays. Patients really appreciate finishing their treatment in just one visit. Dr. Emerson was born in Phoenix, AZ. He attended Arizona State University, then USC Dental College. He began dental practice here in San Diego in 1979. Dr. Emerson enjoys taking continuing education courses on a regular basis and is an experienced cosmetic and general, family dentist. He is a preferred provider for Invisalign clear orthodontic aligners, and an experienced provider forCEREC single visit crowns using cad/cam technology.

Dr. Emerson and his wife Sharon have been married for 25 years, and have two grown sons, now 25 and 23 years. Sharon and Dr. Mark enjoy their five dogs and four pet birds. Sharon is a professional ballroom dance instructor and exercise instructor for older adults. They both enjoy ballroom dancing, and sometimes tent camping. Dr. Mark also loves playing tennis and has a match with his brother every possible weekend.
